A Jar full of Cookies

I'm a flipper. I flip cookie jars. Cookie jars symbolize family/love/comfort. They take all shapes and sizes to communicate those things. Some are square, some are round.
When we were kids, we had a cookie jar in the shape of a coffee cup. It was a symbol of love. I remember reaching into the jar to grab a lumpy cookie. Reaching my hand wayyyy down and finding just the right one. And, the sound of putting the lid back on.
Cookie jars have funded our Christmas this season. I've been able to buy a lot of the presents I wanted to buy this season, 'flipping' cookie jars. And, I love the idea of those people that bought my jars, of being reminded of a simpler time, of fishing for just the right cookie, of remembering for a moment, that the one that baked those cookies, loved them. What a sweet gift to give, the gift of a jar full of cookies.
