Nothing Fast about Fast Food

Another mouth to feed; daughter got a kitten. Why not? Why not add a cow and a horse and a pig? Why not invite others to live here? Why not? On the back porch watching the cat I like the most, studying a bird. Grilling chicken tonight; time to get on a roll with the weight and stop fast food. In reality, there is nothing fast about fast food. It's probably the hardest, most slow-going calories to be rid of; I've decided that if something is'quicky and dirty' it probably is. Anything worthwhile takes time. And, not my time but the lord's time table.

So much for the matchmaking of the website. I'm going to abandon that dumb idea; I've got plenty here to be doing, and sure don't need a guy to take my mind off of the important things.

I have two appointments on Monday to determine if the cancer has returned. Any change of my body or energy level is frowned upon. It equals a trip to the doctor and the inevitable scan etc. All I see with these appointments are the $ signs attached to them.

I hope to have the house to myself tonight; I need some time alone to do what I want to do. Nephew's birthday tomorrow. That is fine, but that blows that day, too. I wish weekends were 3 days long. By Sunday, I'm ready for a break!

I suppose we could do a get together with his family, but the kids don't want to, and neither do I. Terrible attitude, I know.
