Amen!

So much has happened since my last post. I do not have cancer, or, rather, cancer doesn't have me. And, the big news: I graduated from college! I actually completed my degree, begun 27 years ago.

This last weekend, I put on that cap and gown and trolled down the hill. I took in the sounds and the sights and the smells and was so very very thankful. Oh, man, I felt great walking into that stadium! I felt as though I had won the national championship! But, seeing my kids waiting for me at the end, and hugging and kissing each of them, was perfect. It was perfect.

Hard work, pays off. It always does, in one way or the other. And, on a bright beautiful Sunday afternoon in May, I praised God that I was alive and living and breathing and graduating. Man, it felt THAT good. Amen!
